Worth County is located in Southwest Georgia and is known as the Peanut Capital of the World. Worth County hosts the Peanut Festivalevery third weekend in October to celebrate this status. Worth County is also home to the National Grits Festival in Warwick which sits along the shores of Lake Blackshear. Georgia Highway 300 passes through Warwick continues running through the county from North to South. U.S. Highway 82 crosses Worth County from East to West. The Worth County Rams have a proud football tradition and compete in GHSA’s Region 1-AAA. Bryce Johnson currently serves as Worth County’s Solicitor General.
