Turner County

 

Known for its pristine hunting land and fishing ponds, Turner County sits along Georgia’s I-75 corridor which run from North to South. The county seat is Ashburn. Turner County is home of the annual Fire Ant Festival held during the 4th weekend of March. Turner County is also home of the World’s Largest Peanut Monument (located on I-75 just south of Exit 82) and the Crime and Punishment Museum located next to the Courthouse.

Stephen Ivie has served Turner County as Solicitor General since 2002 and prosecutes all Turner County speeding tickets and traffic violations.
