Thomas County sits on Georgia’s southern border with Florida. U.S. Highway 319 runs through Thomas County from north to south. U.S. Highway 84 travels through the county from east to west. Thomasville is known for its annual Rose Festival and for the 325 year old “Big Oak”. Thomasville is also home to some of my favorite dining establishments including Mom & Dad’s, George & Louie’s, Jonah’s, and Liam’s. Thomas County is home to historic plantations and a vibrant downtown shopping district. J. Perry Fielding is the Thomas County Solicitor.
