Ashburn is located on I-75 about 75 miles south of Macon. Ashburn is the county seat of Turner County with a full service municipal government. Joe Saxon heads up the police department as the Chief of Police and Judge Ray Holland presides over the Municipal Court. Along with being a growing community, Ashburn keeps plenty to do almost year round. The city and county Chamber of Commerce host The Fire Ant Festival. The city is also home to the world’s largest peanut monument and The Crime and Punishment Museum with The Last Meal Café.
